A device identifier (anonymous UUID) to manage your trial and credit balance. Your chosen target language, stored locally. Credit purchase records processed by Gumroad — we never store card details.
For videos without existing subtitles, audio from your browser tab is sent to our backend for transcription. Audio is discarded immediately after transcription — typically within seconds.
Deepgram (speech-to-text), OpenAI (translation), Google Cloud (text-to-speech), Sarvam AI (Indian language processing), Gumroad (payments). Each operates under their own privacy policy.

Any Video Translate may only be used for personal translation of videos you have lawful access to. You may not use the service to circumvent DRM protections or create unauthorised copies of copyrighted content.
Credits are non-refundable once consumed. Unused credits do not expire. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for future purchases. Existing purchased credits are unaffected by pricing changes.
One free trial per device. Attempting to reset the trial by reinstalling is a violation of these terms.
